Drucilla Tigner is the ACLU of Texas Reproductive Rights Political Strategist. She is responsible for engage in advocacy on issues of reproductive health and abortion at the state legislature and at the local level in Texas. Drucilla is a native Texan and holds a law degree from William and Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas.
She brings a diverse background and skill set to her work at the ACLU including experience as an attorney, in non-profit and political communications, and as a community organizer. Directly prior to joining the ACLU she was Communications and Development Director for The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston. She has also been a practicing attorney, specializing in consumer advocacy, and prior to attending law school, was the community outreach specialist for Planned Parenthood of the Texas Capitol Region.
