Lauren-Elaine Brown is a Minnesota native with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She came to Texas in 2017 pursuing her Masters of Education through Johns Hopkins University’s Urban Teachers program. She has spent her time in DFW serving the community as a sociopolitical activist, and networking with stakeholders in various industries. Lauren-Elaine’s passions include dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline and creating safe spaces for special populations such as victims of sexual abuse and individuals living with disabilities. Ms. Brown’s passion to see equity will serve as the engine to keep her going in the fight for racial and social justice as the Dallas Engagement Specialist.
