Stephen Amberg is an associate professor of political science at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He earned his Ph.D. in political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Stephen was a Fulbright professor at the Copenhagen Business School.
His teaching and research interests are how governing institutions can be organized to advance class and racial justice, social learning, and democracy. His work has been published in Polity, the Socio-Economic Review, Studies in American Political Development, the Brooklyn Rail, and other venues. He has been a member of the ACLU of Texas Board since 2012.
