Trisha Trigilio joined the ACLU of Texas in January 2016. Prior to joining our staff, Trisha was an instructor for the Civil Rights Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law, where her work included litigation challenging police brutality, imprisonment for debt, arbitrary detention of families seeking asylum, and inhumane conditions in Texas prisons and family detention centers.
Trisha served as a law clerk to the Hon. J. Paul Oetken of the Southern District of New York. She also served as a law clerk to the court’s Office of Pro Se Litigation, where she advised judges about civil rights cases filed by residents of New York City and prisoners on Rikers Island. Trisha earned both her law degree and her undergraduate degree from New York University.
