Support: This bill aims to amend state law which currently makes it a crime for a person to vote if they are in a program called community supervision after release from prison. The legislation is named after our client, Crystal Mason, a woman from Fort Worth sentenced to five years in prison for casting a provisional ballot that was never counted.
