Support: Representative González' bill aims to create an independent redistricting commission. This commission would take redistricting — or the redrawing of state electoral maps — out of the hands of state legislators and into the hands of Texans.
Update: This bill is scheduled for a public hearing on April 20, 2021 in the House Redistricting committee.
