Jalen Moore joined the ACLU of Texas as a communications strategist in October 2023.
Jalen was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and cares deeply about advancing justice for marginalized communities in his home state. Before joining the ACLU of Texas, Jalen worked on communications and media projects for several nonprofits and advocacy organizations, including the ACLU's national office, the National College Attainment Network, the KIPP Foundation, and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.
Jalen graduated from Brown University, where he majored in Religious Studies with a concentration in Africana studies.
In his free time, Jalen enjoys gardening, cooking, going to concerts, thrifting, traveling, and exploring new places.
