Juan Franco Prieto is a paralegal at the ACLU of Texas, where he brings several years of experience supporting complex civil litigation, legal research, and case management across both state and federal courts. He joined the legal team in 2025.
Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Juan holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in economics from Temple University. Before joining the ACLU of Texas, he served as a paralegal at multiple litigation firms and court offices in Puerto Rico, gaining extensive experience in legal drafting, trial preparation, and discovery management.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Juan is passionate about access to justice and supporting legal strategies that promote equity and systemic change.
