Texas House and Senate Hearings on Redistricting

August 7, 2025 (All day)

Governor Abbott is using the special session to push Trump’s political agenda rather than addressing the real crises Texans are facing. While families recover from the devastating Central Texas floods, lawmakers are wasting time redrawing voting maps behind closed doors to cling to power.

We need to show up and speak out. Texas is being used as a testing ground for political games — extreme, divisive, and dangerous — but it shouldn’t be. It’s time to remind our leaders that Texans deserve fair maps and real solutions.
