Official Hearing Notice
While Texas families struggle to recover from devastating floods, Governor Abbott and his allies have released new redistricting maps in House Bill 4 (HB 4) designed to dilute the voting power of communities of color. With crucial hearings scheduled and more expected, this may be our last chance to demand fair representation before these maps become law for at least the next five years. If we show up at these hearings and speak out, we can force lawmakers to listen before it’s too late.
This is our moment to fight for maps that truly reflect all Texans. We're monitoring for additional hearing dates and will update you as they're announced. Every voice raised makes it harder for politicians to ignore us. Your story matters - make it heard at these critical hearings
Q: The registration form allows me to testify “FOR” “AGAINST,” or “NEUTRAL” — what do I choose?
Since HB 4 has been filed with proposed maps, select "AGAINST" to oppose these unfair redistricting plans. This is your chance to demand fair maps that represent all Texans.
