AUSTIN – The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Texas will mark Human Rights Day, December 10, with a free screening of
9500 Liberty , a poignant and powerful film about what can happen when small communities adopt ordinances like Arizona’s controversial and unconstitutional SB 1070. Following the film, there will be a brief update on immigration legislation that has been filed for the upcoming 82nd legislative session and a summary presentation on the state of human rights in Texas.
