Before joining the ACLU of Texas, she worked in the nonprofit sector, in newsrooms, and in the Texas House of Representatives for Representative Alex Dominguez and Representative Donna Howard. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2020 with a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in government.
