As the deputy director of people operations for the ACLU of Texas, Cristina manages human resources activities, programs, and processes furthering the organization’s commitment to equity, inclusion, development, and safety for all staff.
Prior to joining the ACLU of Texas in January 2020, Cristina had different strategic positions where she had the opportunity to serve as an employee advocate. She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and is a certified Human Resources professional (SHRM-CP).
Cristina is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, racial justice, and immigrants’ rights.
