In the Margins July Gathering

In The Margins is a literary community for readers who believe in the power of stories to spark imagination, connection, and change. We are gathering on Saturday, July 18 to discuss Mia McKenzie's These Heathens. We will be joined by Nia Jones and Mia Williams from Hoochies of Houston! They will ground us in the reproductive justice framework, and discuss how Hoochies of Houston uses digital organizing, public advocacy, and community education to dismantle systems that perpetuate harm and inequity. If you're joining us in-person, we will also have Harris County Public Library on site helping folks sign up for library cards.
