Oppose: This bill (and companion House bills 25 and 96) would create a categorical ban on any transgender athlete participating on K-12 athletic teams.

Update August 25, 2021: SB 2 was passed favorably by the Senate and sent to the House where it was assigned to the Public Education committee. The committee held a public hearing on Aug. 24 and was left pending.
