Brianna Rodriguez joined the ACLU of Texas in January 2023. In her role, Brianna supports the organization's strategy to reach digital audiences to educate and engage Texans on critical issues.
Brianna was born and raised in Houston. Before joining the ACLU of Texas, she worked in newsrooms in London and Austin and as a communications staffer for a state representative. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in government.

Leaked transcripts later indicated that the university shut down Marka27’s exhibition due to “the political and public response [and] scrutiny across the spectrum” related to “anti-ICE messaging.”
