Director of Policy & Advocacy

The ACLU of Texas is seeking a Director of Policy & Advocacy. The Director of Policy & Advocacy is primarily responsible for driving the ACLU of Texas policy agenda at the state and local levels, and working collaboratively cross departmentally using our integrated advocacy model.


Fall 2023 Intake Intern

The ACLU of Texas seeks highly motivated undergraduate students with a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of civil rights and civil liberties. Working closely with the intake coordinator, legal interns will work in a team to address, streamline, and track each aspect of the intake process.


Engagement Coordinator

The ACLU of Texas is seeking an Engagement Coordinator. The Engagement Coordinator assists in developing advocacy campaign goals, strategies, and plans, with a focus on engaging core constituency groups targeted by state, local, and school board attacks on free speech.

Houston or Dallas

Executive Coordinator

The ACLU of Texas is seeking an Executive Coordinator. The Executive Coordinator provides administrative support to the Executive Director and the Executive team and provides overall support to the Strategy and Operations departments.



Interns at the ACLU of Texas work directly with our staff on active and potential projects that span the breadth of civil rights and civil liberties issues. We offer a variety of internships in different departments across our organization. Internships are paid.
