HOUSTON – American Civil Liberties Union of Texas Public Education Director Dotty Griffith will address problems with Texas’ new photo voter identification law at a meeting of the Corsicana National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
“The ACLU of Texas has said it before, and we say it again: There is absolutely no proof of voter fraud at the polls in Texas. This bill, from the start, was a solution to a problem that does not exist,” said Ms. Griffith. “This law is designed to inhibit certain groups of Texans from voting which will amount to voter suppression across the state.”

Where: Martin Luther King Center, 1114 East 6th Ave., Corsicana
