ACLU of Texas board member David Broiles received the Tarrant County Bar Association's distinguished Blackstone Award for his years of leadership and service as an attorney.
At a gala awards banquet on May 4th at Fort Worth's Ridgelea Country Club, David Broiles was presented with the Blackstone Award by the local bar association. In his acceptance remarks, David reflected on his work in civil rights and told delightful stories about some of his most important cases - humorous lessons for younger attorneys. He also proudly brandished his ACLU membership card.
